DEMOCRATS OPEN NEW OFFICES.(CAPITAL REGION)

Town Democrats celebrated the opening of their new campaign headquarters Tuesday afternoon amid charges from the Republican administration that they are violating town zoning laws.

The new headquarters are located in an old gas station on the corner of Johnston Road and Western Avenue. Where the neon lights once read Hess, the sign now bears the name of Lewis Krupka, the Democratic candidate for town supervisor.

Surrounded by county Democrats, Krupka and his slate were introduced by committee chairwoman Mary Ruberti. Also running are William Aylward and Dan Centi for Town Board, Paul Pastore for town justice …
